How to Make Google Angry

Well, I don’t know if this is a coincidence or not, in light of our recent attention from Demand Media Studios. Maybe it’s just a renagade Zombie Attack. We suspect it’s not, but that makes us sound like crazy conspiracy guys.

Way back in June, we posted one of our more controversial postings about the Founding Fathers and Demand Media Studios. Well, that was when we were still wet behind the ears and not too wise to the ways of Adsense.

Several readers pointed out, such as  “Tick…Tock” (Remember that guy? What happened to him? Ahhh, the good old days….) , that we were in violation of Adsense policies. We tried to worm out of it, then took some time to RTFM. We were in violation. So we mentioned something in the comments about how we was wrong….but I never edited the original post.

Just this morning, we get a nastygram from Google Adsense telling us we have 72 hours to change the post or we’ll get banned.

We just went ahead and took the whole post down, just to be safe. The last thing we want is an angry Google.

We searched the site looking for more instances of “click encouragement” but haven’t found any. Drop us a line if you do find one.

Not that we need the ads to survive, but they’re nice to make up for server costs.
