DMS Special Projects Question

Just like the title says!

DMS Special Projects Question

Postby Page1News » Wed Oct 19, 2011 10:33 pm

I never applied or was invited to write for Chron, and I have a few questions about it. What, exactly, were the topics? Was it for SF Chronicle and/or Houston Chronicle? Does DMS still provide Chron titles? I have a definite reason for asking.

They were business-type articles, supposed to be written with a slant toward small businesses. I wrote a few before they dried up about making commission plans, holding employee meetings, etc.

So, SFGate was real estate, and Chron was business? I'm now working as a page designer and editor for Hearst Newspapers, among other media conglomerates. Everywhere I go, DMS is there. Talked with someone at SFGate who totally slammed DMS's content, and I ROFL'ed, but kept my mouth shut that I had any previous affiliation with DMS.
