Gotta sift through a bunch of crap, though. A lot of the sites on that list attract the types of bottom feeders that make DMS's pay rates look downright generous.

Do you any of you know anything about becoming a member at SJP (or an organization similar) for folks abroad?

I'm an Ami citizen, but I live in the UK... I've written for pubs and tv stations on both sides and in Europe and never had an issue. I'm just starting to get more serious about getting my work into magazines... I'm primarily a music journalist and I do travel pieces now and again. I've had a few things published in up-and-coming mags in London and recently had a documentary of mine air in America on a major TV outlet (well, major for me ) which was my first big job.


Anyone has any insight were to begin? Can I join something like SJP being abroad?? Any other expats around this board much...?
