My brother in law just became a grandpa at 40. ooh yeah.
i'm still amazed when people are having kids in their early 20s.
not as amazed at when people are having kids when they're 17, but, hey, that's me.

I had my youngest child when my husband was 40. My snarky aunt asked him how it felt to have a newborn at age 40, and he thought quickly (he's much better at that than I am) and told her "it's way better than being a grandpa at 40." She shut up after that.
